A Parliamentary delegation of the 28th Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth (CSPOC) nations arrived here on a sightseeing visit on Saturday morning.
Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani welcomed the foreign delegates at the airport and extended to them a traditional royal Rajasthani hospitality. Assembly Principal Secretary Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Principal Secretary (GAD) Navin Jain, and Jaipur Collector Dr Jitendra Soni were present on the occasion.

Speaker Devnani said, “We are intended to avail of the opportunity in the post Delhi CSPOC meet sightseeing trip of these Parliamentarians to provide them glimpses of the history, legacy, heritage, art, and culture of our glorious past. We have preserved and conserved this glorious legacy, living at various monumental venues with tourism potentials.
Elaborate arrangements have been made for the memorable trip of historic places for the delegates. In a bid to give the visitors a close feel, all appropriate arrangements have been made for their night halt at the chosen tourist spots.
Besides visiting tourist places, the visiting parliamentarians will see the Constitution Club of Rajasthan, in the vicinity of the assembly building.
Devnani has also hosted a ceremonial dinner at the Constitution Club here Saturday evening. Governor Haribhau Bagade, the Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, LoP Rajasthan Tika Ram Jully and several dignitaries will join.
The delegation is scheduled to leave Jaipur Sunday morning.
